When Indiana school teacher, Marielle Slagel Keller, walked down the aisle as a bride last summer, she did so after 20 flower girls and ring bearers.
Keller had chosen all of her kindergarten and first-grade students as her small, yet mighty, wedding attendents.
"They mean the world to me," she told the school staff who recently posted it on the Indianapolis Public Schools Facebook page. "The kids and their families were part of the whole wedding planning process with me and gave me so much support along the way. They are a huge part of who I am, and it would not have felt right to not have them there."
