KATE MOSS’ WEDDING: FLOWER GIRLS ARE IN FASHION

How did fashion model icon Kate Moss choose to accent her wedding to rocker Jamie Hince this past weekend? With flower girls, of course!

Fourteen little ladies, including her 8-year-old daughter, Lila Grace, walked down the aisle in knee-length, white chiffon dresses and adorable matching ballet flats. The girls were runway ready wearing hair wreaths made of marguerites and ivory rose buds, and carrying small bouquets of gerbera daisies, sweet peas, and marguerites.

In the UK, it’s always in vogue to include many little “bridesmaids” in the wedding party, although Moss may be launching the next big thing with double digit numbers (and we’re glad to see it!). Prince William and Kate’s royal wedding featured four young girls ranging in age from three to eight, including the now famous frowning flower girl.

With all these high profile British weddings, do you think the United States will catch onto the multi-flower girl trend? It’s the latest fashion, after all.

Amazing photo. There is clearly no such thing as too many flower girls, the more the better! I hope it does catch on in the US, it adds sweetness and fun to the whole affair!
